Ibania Cordova is a seasoned real estate paralegal with extensive experience in handling various aspects of real estate transactions. Ibania plays a crucial role in the firm by cultivating relationships with clients, title companies, developers, brokers, property management companies and loan officers. She collaborates closely with all relevant parties in a real estate transaction to resolve estate matters, title issues, loan approvals, property violations and closing logistics.
Previously, Ibania served as a Loss-Mitigation Liaison at a bank where she analyzed financial packages during the underwriting process and monitored state regulations and investor requirements. Ibania also has experience as a Foreclosure Paralegal and Bankruptcy Paralegal & Office Manager, supporting clients through bankruptcy proceedings and re-negotiating mortgage terms with lenders.
In addition to her professional skills, Ibania is a fluent Spanish speaker and a New York State Notary Public. She is also actively involved in volunteer work with the New York Cares Organization, assisting with park restoration projects, translation work and senior citizen events.
Ibania holds a degree in Paralegal Studies from Suffolk County Community College, where she served as student body vice president for a one-year term.
