Before founding Jorges & Bowers, Nicholas, a native Manhattanite, had been operating his own law firm since 2009. Prior to that, he worked as an associate at Turkel Forman LLP, the law firm of Judith E. Turkel and Howard M. Forman (both of whom are now Of Counsel to Jorges & Bowers, LLP).
Previously, Nicholas worked as a law clerk and paralegal for many years. During this time, Nicholas gained experience in a wide range of practice areas. He continues to apply this experience to his day-to-day work at Jorges & Bowers, LLP.
Nicholas has also served as the president and treasurer of the board of a cooperative corporation. He has in-depth knowledge of the workings of cooperatives and other New York real estate law. Along with these things, Nicholas has been quoted in news articles published in The New York Times. He also lectures at some of the most prominent real estate brokerage firms in New York City and is licensed by the New York Department of State to teach continuing education courses in the field of residential and commercial real estate.
Nicholas is professionally affiliated with the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, New York State Bar Association and American Bar Association.
